Ed Rocha of California

Ed Rocha of California, and several of his antique trucks. Rocha says his family’s company is the oldest livestock hauler in the state of California – a tradition that started with his father in 1924 and that continues in his family to the current day. The group of trucks includes a cattle-hauling rig his father used in the 1940s.

George and Lois Wacker of Manchester, MI

Longtime trucking couple George and Lois Wacker of Manchester, MI, show off a replica of the truck George’s father drove. Although it’s a replica, the 1931 Ford AA is made entirely out of parts from other trucks of the same make, model and era. To read more about George and Lois, click here.

Jim Dobbas of California

OOIDA member Jim Dobbas of California shows off his 1932 Pierce-Arrow, a truck he found pretty much as a wreck, and which he fully restored. Jim is also a member of the American Truck Historical Society.
I met Jim at the historical group's show earlier this year in Hutchinson, Kansas, a town I frequently visit. Like everyone there, he loves to show off his vehicle, and to talk about it and other trucks he's saved from the salvage yard.
You can read more about Jim here.
