OOIDA at the Mid-America Trucking Show

The Land Line Now staff looks over some of the highlights of the Mid-America Trucking Show, which starts Thursday.

You can find OOIDA in at least five places during this year’s Mid-America Trucking Show at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville, KY.

  • The Spirit of the American Trucker and the OOIDA NASCAR simulator will be at the satellite parking lot at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. The Spirit will be manned by OOIDA Director of Regulatory Affairs Joe Rajkovacz and OOIDA Board Member Bill Rode.
  • Land Line Now, Land Line Magazine and more folks from OOIDA will be at Booth No. 40452 in the North Wing Lobby, in the group of booths just east of the main registration desk. Personnel there will include (at different times) Host Mark Reddig and Senior Correspondent Terry Scruton of Land Line Now; and Managing Editor Sandi Soendker, Senior Editor Jami Jones and State Legislative Editor Keith Goble of Land Line Magazine.
  • OOIDA will have two main booths inside the show:
    • Booth No. 11128 is in the North Wing (the old East Wing). OOIDA’s executive staff and Washington, DC, staff will spend time there;
    • Booth No. 65229 in the West Wing. Various association personnel will be at this booth;
  • Leland Martin does not have MATS on his 2010 show schedule, but Land Line has learned that he will be there and he plans to entertain at Papa John’s parking lot on Saturday night. You can meet Leland at OOIDA’s North Lobby booth Saturday from 10 to noon.�

  • And the First Observer Trucking Security Program will be at Booth No. 65125 in the West Wing. OOIDA Director of Security Operations Doug Morris will be at this booth.
