OOIDA has issued a Call to Action for members and drivers in New York. Thruway officials are proposing a 45 percent toll increase. This would raise the cost for truckers from $88 to $127 to drive the New York Thruway. Officials should know that not only will it turn business away but it will also cause many to use secondary roads to avoid the toll hike. Please contact the Thruway Authority and Canal Corporation Board at 518-436-2700 to express your concerns.
