Heat buckles highways

Reed Black reported that highways around the nation and Canada have buckled from the extreme heat over the past two weeks. In Chippewa County, Wisconsin—east of Eau Claire—a severe buckle on Highway 29 on Sunday caused an SUV to go airborne. A motorist who had stopped to take a cell phone picture of the damage unintentionally caught the incident on video. Air date: July 3, 2012.

    Fuel colors. A dark or brown color fuel is usually a bio diesel blend, which could affect millage. It is also possible to tell by the smell. In the winter if the fuel is blended #2 and #1 fuel with no additive it will appear more clear as #1 fuel is is more clear than the green of #2.
