An old rule is newly enforced

Mark Reddig talks with Tom Crowley of OOIDA’s Compliance Department about a federal regulation now being enforced that requires you to have a certain form in your possession so you can log meal breaks as off duty.

    Could you please send me the regulation mentioned last evening and/or an example of the letter concerning being able to log off duty. It is my understanding this requirment went away with the HOS change of 2004.

    Someone please send me a copy as well. I am working for a company that the safety director is “looking into” it and am unsure what that will even mean. But my terminal manager will sign a copy if I can get it to him.

    could you please send me a copy of the form for off duty statis so i can let my safety director see it he was on the understanding we did not need it anymore they use to carry the cards before
