Mark H. Reddig, the host of "Land Line Now", first came to OOIDA in November of 2002 as a writer and editor at the association’s publication, Land Line Magazine.

A winner of several national awards for his work at the magazine, Reddig is a veteran journalist and member of the Truck Writers of North America, the Society of Professional Journalists and the Kansas City Press Club.

He previously served as an editor for several local newspapers in Kansas and Missouri, and was editor of a Web site that covered the telecommunications industry.

He grew up with connections to the trucking industry: As a teen-ager, he worked part-time for his father, who operated truck tire centers for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co.; members of his extended family worked for White Truck.

Reed Black, staff writer/News Anchor, has more than 30 years of reporting experience. A University of Missouri Journalism School graduate, Reed began his career with the Armed Forces Network in Vietnam. He later worked as a reporter or news anchor at various television and radio stations - including the ABC and CBS affiliates in Kansas City, MO. Reed anchors the daily "Land Line Now" news on XM Channel 171 and makes regular contributions to Land Line Magazine.

1 Terry Scruton, Senior Correspondent spent a year and a half working for Land Line Magazine before joining the Land Line Now staff full time. He still writes the Roses & Razzberries column for the magazine and occasionally shares some on the radio as well. Before coming to Land Line, he covered transportation and trucking issues for The Packer - a produce industry newspaper.

Barry "The Iceman" Spillman, senior producer/engineer, brings 24 years of production experience to "Land Line Now." Barry has been at the helm of thousands of commercial, music, radio and TV productions and has worked with the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, C.W. McCall and Mannheim Steamroller. His work has garnered an Addy for excellence in Audio Engineering & sound design in a national TV spot. His award-winning production style and techniques bring a hard-hitting and fast-paced style to "Land Line Now."*

James Fetzer, "Land Line Now" Second Engineer, helps bring a youthful and edgy sound to the show. A 2004 graduate from Iowa State University with a degree in journalism and mass communications James has worked in various segments of electronic media, including working for NPR and freelance video production. Along with his engineering duties, James, or “Fez,” contributes to Land Line Magazine.

Sherry Murry serves as our show’s Traffic Coordinator. She has brought more than seven years of telecommunication and managerial experience to the "Land Line Now" team.  Sherry came to the Association in 2006, and was the front desk receptionist until joining the radio program. She now keeps everything organized and makes sure that “the trains run on time.”

Sandi Soendker, managing editor, brings more than 30 years of front-line journalism and publishing know-how to Land Line. She has covered the trucking industry since 1987

Jami Jones, senior editor of Land Line Magazine and occasional co-host of "Land Line Now" has been in the trucking media since 2000. Whether judging the SuperRigs contest or researching hard-hitting analyses, she covers trucking from lug nuts to legislation - always with straight talk with the trucker in mind.
