Mexican trucks – OOIDA is encouraging truckers to respond to the FMCSA’s second call for comments regarding Mexican cross-border trucking. The deadline has been extended to July 9. Comments can be faxed to (202) 493-2251 or submitted online by clicking here. Remember to include the docket number, FMCSA-2007-28055. Air date: June 27, 2007.

Mexican trucks – OOIDA is encouraging truckers to respond to the FMCSA’s second call for comments regarding the possible entry of Mexico-based trucks into the U.S. Even if you commented before, you need to again make comments on this issue, prior to the Jun 28 deadline. Comments can be faxed to (202) 493-2251, submitted online by clicking here, or mailed to: U.S. Department of Transportation, Docket Operations, West Building Ground Floor Room W12-140,1200 New Jersey Avenue SE, Washington, DC 20590. Because of the short time frame, OOIDA recommends using fax or the Web to submit your comments. Remember to include the docket number, FMCSA-2007-28055.Air date: June 21, 2007.

Cross-border comments – From June 13 through 17, the U.S. DOT is not taking online comments on its plans for Mexican cross-border trucking because the agency’s computers are being moved to a new building.
