Truck convoy – If you’d like to get involved in the World’s Largest Truck Convoy to raise funds for Special Olympics athletes, you still have a chance in six states. Illinois and New Mexico hold their convoys on Sept. 30. On Oct.7, convoys will roll in Florida, New Jersey and Delaware. And, on Oct. 21, Minnesota wraps up the convoy season. Spinach and E-coli – Rick Craig and Joe Rajkovacz talked about how the E-coli outbreak in fresh spinach has affected truckers. Wounded Samaritan fund – A good Samaritan trucker who was shot and robbed after stopping to help a “stranded” motorist is now partially paralyzed because of a bullet that cannot be safely removed. Randy Tomblin is now in a West Virginia rehab center, and other truckers have set up a fund to help him. To make a contribution, write out a check to Randy Tomblin and mail it to:

Lumping survey – Larry Green and Joe Rajkovacz of OOIDA spoke on our show Wednesday about the laws about lumping. To read the law, click here.
